Brakes are an essential part of your vehicle. Good maintenance
is key to making sure that your brakes do what they were
designed to do - keep you safe by stopping your vehicle.
Inspection
Visit Broadway Auto Clinic without an appointment for a
free brake inspection. One of our
ASE-certified technicians will examine your entire brake
system -- pads/shoes, hydraulic fluids,
rotors/drums and calipers. Then we will tell you if
anything is needed. We can also troubleshoot and repair
anti-lock brake system issues.

Pads & Shoe
Replacement
We use only top quality Raybestos replacement brake pads and
shoes that meet or
exceed your vehicle manufacturer's specification. We also
offer performance brake pads and shoes, for those who
desire some extra bite for severe duty applications.

Raybestos
Rotor and
Drums (Resurface & Replace)
To ensure your brake rotors or drums have a true and even
surface that is necessary for proper braking, we will first
check rotors and drums for run out and minimum thickness. If
possible, we will resurface or "turn" them on our
brake lathe, keeping the
rotor/drum within your vehicle manufacturer's specifications. If required, we offer only the finest quality replacement
rotors and drums.
Hydraulic
System (Bleed, Flush & Fill)
Sometimes braking can become unsteady due to air and
contaminants in
your vehicle's hydraulic brake system. This can cause a soft or
mushy brake pedal, and 'brake fade' at higher speeds. By 'bleeding
and flushing' your brakes, we will remove the old fluid, and refill your
hydraulic brake fluid to the manufacturer's recommended level
with brake fluid that meets or exceeds your vehicle
manufacturer's specifications. This service prevents the
contaminated brake fluid from damaging the brake components,
and makes the brakes more responsive.
Suspension
Components /Springs
Federal Mogal
Taking bumps and jolts, your vehicle's suspension is
supposed to give you a safe and comfortable ride. As
various components wear, performance is degraded, and can lead
to loss of control. We offer top quality suspension
components to make your car or truck ride like new again. We
also offer a wide variety of performance springs that increase
stability around turns, and enhance the look of the car .
Shocks
and Struts
We are proud to offer Monroe Shocks and Struts

What shocks
and struts do.
Shocks and struts are safety components that maintain
vertical loads placed upon the tires. They control
spring and suspension movement to keep tires in contact
with the road. Under normal conditions on a smooth road,
shocks stroke on average 1,750 times for every mile
traveled or 7.5 million stabilizing actions on average
every 12,000 miles (20,000 kilometers). As a result,
shocks and struts do wear out and should be checked
every 12,000 miles/20,000 kilometers just to be safe.
Worn shocks and struts affect vehicle safety.

Conventional Shocks and Struts.
Conventional shocks and struts are limited by their
valving. Their performance is generally a compromise
between a comfortable ride and one that is more
controlled. Monroe Sensa-Trac shocks and struts with the
Safe-Tech system eliminate this compromise. The Sensa-Trac
shock's precision tapered grooves allow the fluid to
freely flow around and through the piston. The result is a
smooth and comfortable ride. When the piston travels
beyond the tapered grooves, fluid is directed totally
through the piston, this results in extra vehicle control.

Monroe Sensa-Trac
now with the Safe-Tech System!
Monroe Sensa-Trac shocks and struts, featuring the new
Safe-Tech System, maximize tire-to-road contact for a safe
ride. In fact in a series of USAC certified tests,
Sensa-Trac shocks with the Safe-Tech system, were shown to
improve braking distance by an average of ten feet in a
60-0 mph braking test on a dry, bumpy road*. Thats the
Monroe Margin of Safety.
We compared the
performance of a series of identical top-selling vehicles.
In each pair, one vehicle was equipped with four new Sensa-Trac shocks with the Safe-Tech system, the other
with three new and one 50% degraded shock absorber. The
results were clear. Sensa-Trac shocks with the Safe-Tech
system provided better tire-to-road contract, facilitating significantly shorter stopping distances and
better handling.
The new Safe-Tech System
enhances original Sensa-Trac shock's groove tube
technology (PSD)-facilitating smoother piston travel.
Giving you more comfort and control and making Sensa-Trac
shocks even more responsive to changing road conditions
than ever before!
